Golf From the Middle of the Fairway
Real golf content for real golfers — not tour pros, not beginners. Just mid-handicappers who love the game and want to get better.
Who's Behind This Site
I'm a mid-handicap golfer based in Mornington, Victoria, and I've been playing the game for about 20 years. With a current handicap of 15 and a round or two most weeks, I'm firmly in that middle ground that most golfers know well — good enough to appreciate the finer points of the game, but still working hard to break 80.
Like most mid-handicappers, I've spent years reading equipment reviews, watching swing tips on YouTube, following the tour and debating whether a new driver would finally shave a few shots off the scorecard. (It usually doesn't, but that never stops us looking.)
"There's more content out there for tour pros and beginners than there is for the rest of us — the 10 to 20 handicappers who make up the majority of golfers. That's the gap Midhandicap.com is here to fill."

Why Mornington
Living on the Mornington Peninsula means access to some fantastic golf — the Peninsula is home to a brilliant collection of courses, and on a clear day there are few better places in the world to play. It also means I'm acutely aware of how the wind can ruin a perfectly decent round.
