Rick Shiels

Rick Shiels is a golf coach and YouTuber who was born in Bolton, England in 1986. He began playing golf at the age of 11 and later earned a diploma in golf studies.

After completing his PGA training, he worked at a golf club in Cheshire and started a YouTube channel in 2011 to gain more customers. Over time, he began to gain traction and in June 2020, he became the first golf blogger to reach 1 million subscribers. In 2019, he helped host the first-ever YouTube Golf Day, which raised over £15,000 for Prostate Cancer UK.

He has partnered with various brands like Nike, Garmin, and Mastercard to create mini-series on his YouTube channel. His videos have featured celebrities like Robbie Williams and Eddie Hall, and his channel covers various aspects of golf, including equipment reviews and instructional tips.

He also hosts a podcast called The Rick Shiels Golf Show, which is available on multiple platforms. In February 2021, he announced that he had ended his partnership with Nike and had signed a new apparel deal with Lyle & Scott.
